MANAGEMENT
INTRODUCTION
The term ‘disaster’ meaning, ‘the bad
star’ in Latin, is defined as an impact of a natural or manmade hazard that
causes human suffering or creates human needs that alleviate without
assistance. The word root is from astrology and implies that when the stars are
in a bad position, a bad news or event is about to happen.
Man is concurring an
environment for fulfilling his need, similarly he knows that it causes decay in
natural resources. Though he knows it, he is avoiding the importance of nature
in his life. Due to lack of natural resources, there arise global warming. We
can see the effect of global warming on living things. Hence natural and
manmade hazards are appearing as challenges.
Good environment
education, like various awareness classes for protecting nature, must lead
students out and on from their immediate perceptions and to a wider
understanding. It must develop their capacity. Pupils must learn about natural
phenomena in order to understand complex environmental matters.
There are a lot of
environmental problems which are related to natural disasters and manmade
disasters like earthquake, floods, drought, tsunami etc. Students should know
